A great day of hiking and flying with a large group of AAW Pilots - possibly the largest ever for an impromptu gathering. Laddie said it best with the note below:
Wadda’ gang of adventurers we had today! 26 participants (16 solo pilots, 4 tandem pilots, two round trip hikers, one dog and …a partridge in a pear tree). The wind gave us fits and we huddled patiently while Josh ran from one end of the ridge to the other finally subduing the wind! It back off from +20 at 2PM to less than 9 by 3PM. 29 degrees on top and 9 at the wood lot. The inversion made for a nice sunset and squared off the tops of the mountains.
